Today we got a happy call from Freeride.se, they pronunced us the winners (of the snowboard section) in their competition - Freeride Video Awards!
We think this is SUPER AWESOME and we're really stoked and will probably be so for some weeks now! :) Big thanks to all of you who supported us by voting for our movie!
The price ceremoni is the 21st of November, during WinterJam in Stockholm, so I hope we´ll see you all there!
Now it´s yellow outside and lot's of people have huge "snow-abstinence"! It's so close now!! For us Quite Alrighters the days before heading back to Sälen is mostly about working, chilling or pre-season training. Not superfun but some kind of necessary... Our trailer for White lies & French fries have reached the Finals in FVA (Freeride Video Awards) and we're super stoked! You can vote on our trailer till the first of november, so click on the link below and vote for us if you liked it!
We can also tell you that we are now finished with the extra material such as menus, covers, bonus parts and etc... So, this week we're going to send the White lies & French fries DVD to print! The DVD will bee free at Hollywood stores and Steepstore.com when you buy different products! The movie will also be released for free downloading on the web in the beginning of december.

If you get to much snowboard-abstinence, the best way to get rid of it, is to get a trailer, move a rail or an old door down to your local hockey rink and do some gnarly tricks! Or just to go out and shredd in the leaves in your backyard - like me! / Jay
We had our second premier in Örebro this saturday! Must say that it was as good as the premier in Gothenburg! A smaller place but with A LOT of people! Also this time people was cheering and really liking the movie! Thanks to all of you guys who were there and supporting us!!! Also a big thanks to SATIN for hosting this party!

After we had shown our movie we got some Champagne from SATIN, felt like Hollywood stars! So funny! Our next and last premier will be in Tandådalen! Hope you will be there to celebrate with us and of course to shredd some snowboard! Love QA
So we just arriwed home from SATIN, been testing the movie to se that everything is working fine! Looks super so we are now really pumped for the night and hoping a lot of people will join us!
Going to bring our "spot-camera" and maybe post some pictures later. Niclas pimped the DJ-place with a big Core-poster and we pimped the poster with some stickers, nice!
Our first premier for White lies & French fries took place in Gothenburg this Friday! The evening was really good with a lot of people! Even though our movie got stolen (luckely I got an extra DVD with me) we maneged to show it and the crowd loved it! So now we are superstoked for our next premier in Örebro!

After the snowboard spring season of 2009, we (everyone except me) had a couple of months
full of what slackers do best; nothing! Eventually the natural result of huge snowboard abstinence, ended up in a
trip to the glacier Folgefonna in Norway in the beginning of July.
Neither of us had been there before, but from all
we had heard from friends we could not be anything but very excited to get some good summer shred, and hopefully
get some epic moments on film.
Tobbe and I took the train from Örebro to Skövde, to hook up with Jonas in order to leave the next morning in his parents car.
The three of us met up with Matte Pow, Mårten and Markus in Strömstad for a poor lunch pizza not worth half its price, but since
we had nothing but snowboard in our mind, we were in a good mood anyway.
Almost ten hours later, we arrived in the valley of Folgefonna, at a small camping full of caravans covered with stickers and a few shitty huts.
Although it was getting dark, we felt the need of doing a few axle stalls in the mini-ramps by the lake, before we went to bed.

The trip to Folgefonna was epic in every way, even though the first days were quite cloudy, so we spent most of the time just
shredding the park for fun instead of filming. When we finally had blue bird, we brought the cameras and Mårten took the chance to
shoot some awsome angles with ”Jurassic Park”-looking backgrounds. Folgefonna gave us much more than good park shred.
We also had the opportunity see magnificent waterfalls, steep mountains and deep valleys, and to summerize the trip: we had a great week together!
Just have a little patience now, and we will soon share our greatest moments in White Lies & French Fries!
In spring almost all of the snowboarders in Sweden gather in Ramundberget to have a good time, relax and shred the last snow! Some of us also went there for the competition, Piststilen, which is the seasons last comp.
Me, Markus and Tobbe was in the competition but didn´t do that well, I was sick and puked all night before. Think I sleppt about 3 hours, kind of hard to ride jumps when you are shaking. Tobbe was a bit to exited and really wanted to stomp his bs 1080. He overloaded a bit and had to put his hands down and Markus just had some really bad luck with the landings!
Anyway, we had a real good weekend! The next day we snowboard the entire day just doing weird tricks and a lot of 180s! At the end of the day there was this huge party. The last party for the season! Really nice to end the season with a party! / Jay
We went to Hemsedal for a week of shredding and filming. Jonas, who was injured this week, was busy making a blog
about the other guys! We had a really nice week even though one of our cars broke down and the repare cost a fortune
( Norway is not a cheap country!!) We had awesome weather, really good partys and nice snow!
Think we will be back next year!
